Housing & Homelessness Services (Community Services & Development)Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: Short Term ContractEligibility: Open to EveryoneThe Senior Social Worker represents the South Australian Housing Trust at the Multi-Agency Protection Service (MAPS). The MAPS brings together representatives from key partner agencies to ensure efforts to keep people safe from family and/or domestic violence by effectively sharing information, planning, and coordinating the delivery of services. The Senior Social Worker will liaise with SAHT staff in responding to high-risk incidents of domestic and family violence to enhance client outcomes.Special Conditions:Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a DHS Screening Unit Working with Children Check prior to being employed and every 5 years.The incumbent in the role is a Mandated Notifier of child abuse under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017.The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.Some out of hours work may be required upon activation of the Emergency Relief Functional Support Group.The incumbent is required to work with clients in their homes and/or at locations away from SA Housing Trust regional offices.Role Status:Short term contract up to 27 June 2025.Requirements:Essential - A degree and/or post graduate qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.Application Instructions:You are required to submit a cover letter which should be no longer than two pages addressing how your skills, attributes, experience and capabilities align with the role description.
