Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Hotel Accountant on a fixed-term contract.
You will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Finance department, overseeing and assisting with accounts payable, receivables, and payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the Finance team and assist with duties such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashiering.
* Develop and monitor all financial systems for the Resort to improve and streamline procedures.
* Work with Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance each department's profitability.
* Evaluate and maintain internal controls, credit limits, and other compliance requirements.
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly accounts.
* Assist with completing monthly financial statements under tight deadlines.
* Monitor payroll requirements and ensure accuracy.
* Provide financial advice and support to the Management team.
* Participate in BAS and other tax-related tasks.
* Liaise with third-party stakeholders as required.
