ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
As the corporate system finance champion, this position plays a vital role in our financial environment by leading finance projects, providing system training and support, and serving as a crucial business partner to our various Business Units. Demonstrated expertise in this role will be instrumental in delivering the financial solutions and insights required for Council's success.
Key responsibilities include:
Champion Corporate Financial Modules: Lead corporate system financial modules.
Stakeholder Relationship & Budget Alignment: Build strong relationships with business unit stakeholders, ensuring alignment between operational plans and budgets while enhancing finance skills.
Budget Coordination: Coordinate input for Annual and Quarterly Budget Reviews.
Project Management & System Development: Plan, implement, and drive concurrent projects effectively and support the development of Council's financial systems.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.
Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 13 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $97,699 - $109,898 per annum plus superannuation.
