Responsibilities
:
1. Deliver excellent customer service and client oues.
2. Preparation of management reports, financial statements and tax returns for individual,pany, trust, partnership and super fund clients.
3. Exposure to clients operating in a range of industries and life cycles.
4. Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), annual payroll tax reconciliations and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
5. Engage with a team of like-minded accountants and Partners to develop and support your individual growth.
6. Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients, including the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Australian Securities and Investmentmission (ASIC) and the State Revenue Office (SRO).
7. Utilise the latest in technology to ensure an efficient and accurate client service delivery.
This position is located in our Bendigo office which is proudly operated by Kelly+Partners & MGR Accountants.

Knowledge:
8. Broad understanding of ie tax (and allowable measures to reduce tax), family tax benefit,pany tax, fundamentals of trust law and superannuation provisions.
9. Business operations, structures and the dynamics of how they interact.
10. Cash versus accruals basis of accounting.
Experience:
11. Minimum 2 years' experience working in an accounting practice.
12. Preparation of accurate financial accounts
13. Experience with MYOB AE, Xero, Quickbooks Intuit, Reckon, advanced MS Excel and MS Word software skills preferred, but not essential.
Qualifications:
14. Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand certified or currently enrolled. CPA certified candidates are also encouraged to apply.
15. Bachelor's degree inmerce or similar.
