You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, inspiring a love for literature, and developing programs that promote information literacy and research skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Resource Centre staff and coordinate day-to-day operations.Develop and implement innovative library programs and services.Maintain a welcoming and accessible environment for all students.Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance curriculum support and resource-based learning.Manage resource acquisition, cataloguing, budgeting, and facilities. About You: A formal tertiary qualification in Library and Information Services (or equivalent) or relevant experience in a similar role.Demonstrated in-depth experience and high level professional skills to perform operations required in successfully leading a Resource Centre. Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and support staff and students.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships within the school community.Comprehensive knowledge of budget management and library/resource operations.A commitment to the ethos and culture of our Catholic school. Specific Requirements: First Aid Certificate, relevant to the role.Current Working with Children Clearance.Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate.
