We are looking to expand our operating hours and are looking for an experienced chef to join our fast paced team.
We have the reputation of providing our customers with food and service of a very high standard,we are a team focused kitchen that provides a respectful working environment, and we are looking for a like minded chef to come on board.
To be suitable for this roles you must be able to show you can meet the following criteria;
-be reliable, have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
-the ability to remain calm under pressure
-have a minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen
-have experience in a fast paced kitchen
-be able to collaborate with Head Chef to plan and develop recipes and menus, considering factors such as
seasonal availability of ingredients, the likely number of customers, portion size and final menu price.
-responsibility for receipt and examination of goods/supplies to ensure quality and quantity
standards and specifications are met.
-liaise with kitchen staff, and assist where necessary to ensure efficient expedition from kitchen to dining area.
-control and order stock and maintain stock levels; maintain basic food cost control standards. Liaise with the Head Chef regarding shortages/usages.
-maintain the budgetary targets
-take pride in your work and show attention to detail to maintain 5 star reviews
-be able to work respectfully as part of a team
-have a diploma or a trade qualification
-have excellent communication and organisational skills
-have a strong knowledge of food safety requirements
