As a result, we are looking for an experienced Resource Planning Manager to join our leadership team.
Leading this business-critical function, this role will oversee our workforce strategy development and facilitate staff and asset mobility activities across our sites.
You will create and leverage detailed resource management analytics and provide key data on our workforce and asset pools to help shape and inform business decisions.
Reporting to our General Manager of Operational Services, areas of focus for this role will include: Manage resource planning processes to optimise resource allocations (people and equipment), maximise utilisation and minimise resource gaps within the jobs / project rosters.
Producing high-quality resource utilisation data inclusive of labour, assets and equipment for planning, monitoring, and service level maintenance.
Delivering timely, accurate reports to streamline, prioritise, and automate operational reporting.
Conducting strategic and tactical Resource allocation forecasting to align resource delivery with seasonal demands.
Monitoring workforce planning systems (OPMS) and proactively identifying enhancement opportunities.
Monitor daily resource levels in real time to adjust to operational demands.
Support short- and long-term forecasting processes to ensure workforce levels align with business objectives.
Lead, develop and support a team of direct reports within the Planning and Mobilisation team providing regular feedback and recognising achievements.
Actively participating and engaging with the executive leadership team and key internal stakeholders YOUR BACKGROUND Previous experience in a strategic workforce planning/management role back by relevant tertiary qualifications; exposure to the resources and/or construction industry will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to lead a project including the development to business cases, program planning and budget management.
Proven leadership capability with the ability to empower and drive outcomes.
