We are seeking a Remote Operations Centre Manager to join our Worley Power Services team in South Melbourne.
Our Remote Operations team oversees a variety of Power Generation assets in our management across Australia, including Gas Pipelines, Wind Farms, and Gas Fired Power Stations.
In this role, you will manage operations across these assets, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
As the Remote Operations Centre Manager, you'll lead a team of operators, provide operational support, and focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You'll also collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to help shape the future of operations in a dynamic environment.
This position requires strong leadership, control room expertise, and a deep understanding of safety protocols.

What you'll do Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead, manage, and supervise control centre operations, ensuring effective monitoring of remote systems and smooth coordination with field operations.
Provide guidance, training, and support to the control centre team, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Ensure proper shift scheduling and staffing to meet operational requirements.
Ensure all activities conducted within the control centre adhere to company safety standards, HSE regulations, and customer requirements.
Oversee incident response and manage escalations efficiently, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to minimise downtime and operational impacts.
Serve as the primary point of contact between control centre operations, senior management, and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on operational status and performance metrics.
Lead initiatives to optimise control centre performance, including introducing new technologies, processes, or procedures.
Monitor performance and ensure all activities are documented, and performance metrics are met.
What you'll have Proven experience in managing remote control centre operations and control systems within power generation or related sectors.
Relevant technical qualifications in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
Proficiency in control centre technologies such as OT, remote communication networks and DCS/SCADA systems.
Certifications/qualifications will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in cybersecurity.

Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
Ability to identify and solve problems proactively, implementing innovative solutions to improve operational practices and efficiency.
