Our training is delivered to students and apprentices on-site, online, in the workplace, or on-campus to give people the skills they need to enrich their communities, support their industries, and strengthen their local economies.By working at TAFE Queensland, you can be part of a highly experienced workforce closely connected with their industries and dedicated to delivering best practices and innovative training.As the Finance Systems Support Officer, you will:Monitor system activity to ensure a high level of system and data integrity for all users of finance-related systems.Utilise technical expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions that support TAFE Queensland’s operations.Create, implement and manage training programs and documentation to support and guide users of the TAFE Queensland Finance System and related ancillary systems.Assist the Finance Systems Manager with system configuration.This position reports to the Finance Systems Manager.This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.The position will be based primarily at Mount Gravatt; however, you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day operation of the TAFE Queensland Finance System, including user access, system security, and system controls.Support the design, planning, review, and analysis of programs and services relating to finance and finance-related system enhancements, ensuring continuous improvement and ongoing alignment with operational objectives.Work closely with the business to drive and monitor the standardisation of finance and finance-related system processes across all TAFE Queensland regions.Undertake problem-solving and analysis of finance system matters to provide advice on solutions for the business, whether that be in system reconfigurations, changes to business processes, or revised work instructions.Research, develop, implement, and monitor a range of operational practices for improved engagement and participation, including compliance within prescribed timeframes and deadlines.Provide tier-two support for TAFE Queensland Finance System (TechnologyOne Financials) and related systems, including system updates, testing, and user support.Plan and produce training materials and deliver training to TAFE Queensland staff.Coordinate, develop, and maintain documentation in relation to system and business processes.Build and maintain effective relationships across TAFE Queensland.Contribute to and participate in CFO portfolio and team initiatives and programs as required.Support related and ancillary systems as required including but not limited to: TechnologyOne Student Management System (SMS), TechnologyOne Enterprise Cash Receipting (ECR), Pricebook (within SMS), Tungsten AP Essentials, CBA Banking Systems (Commbiz, BPoint).How you will be assessedThe ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:Proven expertise and understanding of financial systems’ components, configuration, and operations.Exceptional communication, consultation, and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of effectively influencing a diverse cohort of key stakeholders.Broad technical knowledge and the ability to apply technical skills to problem-solving and developing solutions.Demonstrated proficiency in creating, delivering, and maintaining training programs and procedural documentation.Evidenced success working both as part of a team and independently, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workloads to achieve results.Highly Desirable RequirementsExperience with TechnologyOne ERP, particularly the Core Enterprise Suite Financials & Supply Chain modules.At least two years’ experience supporting an enterprise resource planning system.Information Technology or Business qualification.How to applyIf you’re interested in this role, click the ‘Apply’ button to submit your application via the TAFE Queensland Recruitment Portal.
