The position provides coding auditing and education within the Clinical Coding team across NSLHD. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience. Experience with coordination of quality activities, clinical coding auditing and analysing/validating audit results. High level of experience and competence in clinical classification using ICD-10-AM and ACHI with a thorough understanding of Australian Coding Standards. Ability to communicate and report on audit results to a range of stakeholders including clinicians, researchers, the LHD executive and other professionals.
