Our team is comprised of specialist fire protection professionals, contractors, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and electricians who not only install, but also maintain and provide ongoing support for your fire protection system. About the Role We are currently sourcing multiple experienced Fire Technicians to join our Installs & Rebuild Division and Service Division based out of our Mt Thorley premise working across Hunter Valley Mine Sites. These positions are site embedded to 1 particular site or floating roles (multiple sites pending work scope). This is a hands-on role pertaining to the service and maintenance of essential portable fire equipment, fire detection/suppression systems and equipment across various industries. The role will commence on a Monday to Friday roster, working 8 hours per day with overtime available. Pending your experience there are varied rosters available after probation completion. Experience and Qualifications Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (including AS1851 -2012) Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a team A high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement An ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skills An ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service related documentation Manual Drivers Licence Desirable (or willing to obtain prior to commencing): Current Glencore Generic Current Order 43 Medical Work at Heights Certification Why Us?
