The resource management team plays a vital role in connecting our people to opportunities and experiences that compliment the lives and careers of our Deloitte Audit & Assurance professionals.
As trusted advisers to the business, our team is responsible for making sure we have the right people, on the right jobs at the right time and is responsible for the end-to-end resourcing of our people’s schedules.

What will your typical day look like?
You will proactively engage with the business to gain a meaningful understanding of skills and experience needed to ensure the resourcing assignments are completed to an exceptional standard.
This means that will oversee demand, supply, and capability: deploying staff onto engagements, identifying the most suitable person in terms of their availability, skills, and career aspirations in a timely and commercially sound manner.
The role provides extensive learning opportunity where you will be supported and upskilled to be responsible for a portfolio supporting the Resource Management lead.
Key responsibilities include:
4. Connecting with our people to understand and align them to opportunities to build their career
5. Using your strong stakeholder management skills to develop strong relationships with our Practitioners, Portfolio Directors and Partners in order to to understand their respective needs.
6. Play a significant role in optimising the utilisation of our teams to oversee demand, supply and capability, highlighting capacity, challenging hours and timing, deploying staff on engagements, identifying the most suitable person in terms of their skills and career aspirations in a timely and commercially sound manner.
7. Contributing to strategic and tactical resource planning function ensuring the provision of adequate time frames to meet engagement requirements.
8. Working collaboratively with your Resource Manager, colleagues nationally to help solve important problems, care for each other, and have some fun!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people, has an eye for detail, is a team player, motivated, tenacious and a problem solver. You will also be someone with a genuine interest in both the human and business side of resource management.
Additionally you will have:
9. 1-3 years experience in data administration, and a background in HR, project management or workforce planning will be highly regarded.
10. Strong commercial acumen and a strong attention to detail.
11. You're personable, with an ability to build relationships, consult and influence key stakeholders.
12. Be a highly motivated team player and enjoy contributing to a positive team environment.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, multiple priorities, and cope with a constantly changing landscape.
14. Highly motivated, confident and solutions orientated.
15. Ability to identify and spot trends and behaviours with the willingness to prepare, interpret and analyse resourcing metrics and reporting.
16. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
17. Microsoft Excel, Intermediate to Advanced.
