At Nova Entertainment, we prefer our Creative writers to be squishy, blood filled, skin-wrapped humans who understand our audience to their core.
But that doesn’t mean we’ll settle for anyone with a pulse!
We’re looking for an original thinker to join our awesome Creative Services team in Sydney, (yep the big end of town where all the serious briefs land and only the biggest and best idea wins!)
You’ll need to be a team player, creative collaborator and a self-starter who can project manage advertising campaigns from initial brief to finished audio, jumping between radio, digital audio, podcasting and instore radio at a moment’s notice.
Reporting to the Group Creative Manager, you’ll be working closely with a team of award-winning creatives, account managers, strategists, talent managers, sound designers, some of Australia’s most listened to on air talent and voice actors to create world class audio for our valued clients.
Chances are, you’ve worked in audio before or still do (we can’t blame you we love it too!) and you’ve got some examples of your work worth listening to.
A cracking referral wouldn’t go astray either!

Some more details on what you will do:
* Understand and effectively interpret client briefs to write and develop commercial audio solutions for our clients and business – your innate passion for innovation, creativity and desire to delight an audience will hold you in good stead
* Experiment with commercial design to create market leading advertising for our clients.
* Build relationships with Sales, Programming, Strategy, Video and Airtime to write, develop and produce custom audio solutions for our commercial partners.
* Cast voice talent and direct studio recording sessions.
* Assist Strategy with idea generation and translate this into exceptional creative.
* Provide hands on support to the Sales and Strategy teams to develop convincing written and audio solutions for pitch response.
* Write scripts for video, telling compelling stories about our business and our clients brands.
* Liaise with Production and Airtime to deliver advertising material and instructions.
* Keep up to date with new products, sector trends and demographics.

* Proven experience as a creative writer for a creative agency or media publisher preferred.
* Previous radio experience highly regarded.
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office and sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
