**Job Description:**
This is a full-time fixed term role until 31st March 2027.
Unique Opportunity: Shape the strategic direction of partnership development within the newly established NSW Node of the Quantum Australia organization.

About the Role:
* Drive the translation of quantum research into solutions for businesses.
* Help secure R&D partnerships and facilitate knowledge exchange between the University and industry.
* Play a crucial role in accelerating the development and adoption of quantum technology.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To:
* Collaborate closely with the Partnership Development Lead within the VIC node and other Partnership Development roles across the other parts of Australia, fostering a community of practice.
* Foster relationships in Resources, Agriculture, Transport, Defence, Financial, Medical, Advanced Technologies, and Energy sectors.
* Identify new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and visibility between industry and universities.
* Secure industry and government partnerships with the NSW-located partner universities of Quantum Australia.
* Provide visibility around pipeline development, bringing attention to opportunities for growth and obstacles, and make recommendations for improving strategies.
* Provide strategic support and advice to the NSW Node Lead and the Quantum Australia CEO on partnership strategies.
About You:
* Experience working within the emerging technologies (particularly defence, cybersecurity, manufacturing, or agriculture) and/or higher education sector.
* Demonstrated ability to foster and leverage meaningful relationships with industry and/or government to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, particularly in a business development capacity.
* An interest in and passion for emerging technologies.
* Experience drafting proposals and developing agreements will be highly regarded.
* Conceptual, analytical, and report writing skills related to partnership development.
* Knowledge of the processes and frameworks for developing and managing strong academic partnership programs.
