About the role: We have an exciting casual opportunity for a Spa Therapist who wants to provide the highest possible standard of service and treatment to guests through a unique, nurturing, and holistic experience. We offer spa and relaxation services exclusively to guests partaking in The Bay of Fires Lodge Walk based near Ansons Bay on the North East Coast of Tasmania. Here you will experience true communion with nature, combining simplicity and an off-grid lifestyle. Spend 6 days a month out on the East Coast, providing massage and some spa rituals. In between services and spa-related operations, you will assist in our eco-lodge with operational needs and some light housekeeping tasks such as light food prep and cleaning. This Position Starts in December and runs through to May. What you will bring: To succeed as a TWG Spa Therapist, you will have the ability to provide an outstanding experience that guests will remember for a lifetime, which is achieved by establishing excellent rapport and ensuring guests feel comfortable and welcome in the spa. The ideal candidates for this role will meet these essential requirements: 1 years’ experience working in a similar role or industry preferred. Be flexible and adaptable with a high level of professionalism and well-presented. Experienced with using online booking systems and schedules (Fresha System preferred) Possess effective communication, rapport building skills and organizational skills. Be self-motivated, reliable, autonomous, resilient and comfortable working alone. Able to travel to and work in a remote location Inspired and excited by off-grid infrastructure and motivated to uphold and maintain the spa’s overall appearance.
