About the Role
The Safety, Health & Wellbeing Officer will be based at our site in Victoria, assisting to support and contribute to Flavorite's health, safety, and employee wellbeing agenda. Reporting into the Safety, Health and Wellbeing Lead, this role plays a key part in implementing and maintaining strategic programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Group Strategy Support: Supporting people leaders to align Safety, Health & Wellbeing objectives with business goals and driving our safety culture and compliance.
* Health, Safety & Wellbeing Support: Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives, risk management, and developing policies, procedures, and systems.
* Injury Management: Assisting with managing Workcover claims and Return to Work processes to support early intervention, treatment, and RTW of injured workers.
* Compliance: Managing and analysing data to ensure records are accurate and compliant.
* Continuous Improvement: Supporting change management and innovation to streamline Safety, Health & Wellbeing initiatives across multiple sites.
Requirements:
* Great energy and passion for People, Safety & Wellbeing.
* Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent.
* Qualifications in return-to-work management.
* Entry-level experience working in WHS, return-to-work management, and a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Basic understanding of Australian legislation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
