The Systems Support Officer key responsibilities are:
• Maintenance, deployment and testing of Standard Operating Environment including packaging and deployment of standard software and device drivers for approximately 8000 workstations.
• Patch management for approximately 8000 Windows 10 and 11 workstations and 1000 Windows Servers.
• Liaise with product vendors and clients on hardware, software and systems to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Maintain and develop all required infrastructure documentation, including processes and procedures.
• Assist with medium-to-large projects in relation to infrastructure architecture, implementation, installation and upgrades.
• Adhere to the relevant ITIL standards and procedures that have been developed in the areas of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
• Carry out and manage system administration functions utilising the Microsoft product set including but not limited to SCCM, Intune and Windows server and desktop patching.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster.
