About the role :

The Hospital Assistant supports the delivery of an efficient and effective catering and cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Health Service.
You will need to be reliable, punctual, energetic, physically fit, and have a caring and supportive attitude. Good communication skills are essential to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds, and other medical equipment is also valued.
In a small, close-knit team, you will be well supported, and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the community, and you’ll see not only the results of your care but also the appreciation of the community for the role you play in their health.
This position is managed by Downer on a day-to-day basis. The successful applicant will be physically based at Orange Health Campus - Bloomfield, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District.
