About this position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coordinator to deliver best-in-market Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). Reporting to the Regional Services Manager (RSM), this role is pivotal in mentoring and leading a high-performing team, ensuring a fun, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Development: Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups, aligned with the ‘My Time, Our Place Framework’.
* Staff Supervision: Oversee staff and student placements, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
* Child Safety: Maintain accurate records for each child, ensuring a safe environment and adherence to safety and health policies.
* Family Engagement: Liaise effectively with families, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
* Health & Safety: Manage risk, ensure the wellbeing of all children and staff, and oversee the medical management of identified children.
* Service Quality & Compliance: Ensure daily service delivery meets internal audit standards and National Quality Standards.
* Administrative Support: Assist in rostering, attendance management, and the effective administration of childcare management systems.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience in the childcare industry, preferably in an OSHC environment.
* Proven experience in supporting and delivering quality and safety agendas.
* Understanding of the National Quality Framework and MTOP Educational Framework.
* Strong administration and computer skills.
* A history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
Required Qualifications:
* Hold or be working towards a 2-year approved Diploma or higher in a relevant area of study. ACECQA approved area.
* Current and valid Working with Children Check and/or Blue Card (depending on State regulation).
* Current and valid First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis).
* Food handling/safety qualification (desirable).
