Your part in The Wesley Hospital team The Biomedical Technician (Anaesthesia and Patient Monitoring Specialist) is responsible for maintaining and providing expert technical support for the anaesthesia units and patient monitoring equipment across all UCH sites.
What makes a difference for us? Associate Diploma of Engineering (Electronic Systems) or similar qualification.Possess a Restricted Electrical Work License.In-depth knowledge of the operation and maintenance of anaesthetic machines and patient monitoring equipment used at UCH Hospitals.5+ years of experience in healthcare industry out of which at least 2 years as a Biomed Technician specialising in Anaesthetic Machines and Patient Monitors.Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment.Proficiency in computer skills is essential.In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipment.Willing to undertake and successfully complete applicable tertiary qualification.Experience with infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions.Must adhere to the values of the organisation, i.e., focusing on our internal and external customers; striving to be a leader in our fields; taking personal responsibility for all actions, and constantly re-evaluating our service.Qualifications in ICT Infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical discipline.Knowledge and ability with network management including :Installation and Configuration of peripheral devices and network components
