Our Client is a renowned cheese factory and venue located in Glynde, South Australia.
The factory serves the retail, food service, and industrial markets.
It is a family-owned business specializing in authentic Italian-style cheeses such as Bocconcini, Ricotta, and Mozzarella.
Your role would include the following duties: Conducting food experiments to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties.
Developing new and innovative food products.
Setting standards for pricing of products.
Improving the packaging and marketing of food products.
Testing food products through nutritional content, colour, flavour, and texture.
Advising on correct preservation, packaging, and storing of food products.
Coordinating food making processes, directing workers in development of food products.
Following workplace Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols.
To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes: Relevant qualifications: a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least five years of experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Trained and relevant experience in food technology.
Ability to develop and monitor food property processes and production.
Demonstrated efficient work practices.
Well-developed communication skills.

This is a full-time position offered at a basic salary of between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a + Superannuation.
