We have a fantastic opportunity for a Provisional or RegisteredPsychologist at our Brisbane practice. in this role, you'llencounter daily challenges and rewarding moments, directlyinfluencing the lives of individuals in the community. Your rolewill see you supporting Foster Care services, Clients funded underthe NDIS, Home Care clients, Employee Assistant Programs (EAP),and external clients of Challenge Community Services.
The Role:
In this role, you'll step into a vibrant and supportive teamenvironment with established long term referrals and cases awaitingyour expertise. Your focus will be on providing a clinical lensacross assessments, therapy, and community-based interventions.Enjoy the flexibility of working from home one day a week whilecontributing to our multidisciplinary approach. Your impact willspan from early childhood to late adulthood, as we're dedicated tomeeting client needs with excellence. Collaborate closely withFoster Care services and NDIS-funded clients, as we're registeredproviders under NDIS and Medicare.
About you:
We're looking for a Provisional or Registered Psychologist whois passionate about working with children, young people, or adultswith disabilities and complex behavioral needs. You are someone whocan think on their feet, solve problems effectively, andcollaborate across all services to achieve positive outcomes forour clients and their families. Excellent communication skills,including the ability to express ideas clearly and logically, areessential.
Experience with assessments is highly desirable. Additionally,possessing a current NSW driver's license, COVID-19 vaccinations,and the necessary background checks is a must. If you haveexperience in OOHC/ADHC/NDIS or a similar field, or if you'veworked in Mental Health, provided Clinical Supervision, or are aMedicare provider, we'd love to hear from you. Familiarity withFamily Systems Therapy and strong group facilitation or trainingskills would also be valuable.
