The Opportunity:
This role will support new and innovative projects being developed by our team. You will contribute systems engineering support and oversight to the wider multi-disciplinary team. We are developing cutting-edge technology in a challenging environment, this will give you valuable exposure and accountability. As the project scales-up your role will continue to grow and diversify to accommodate iterative changes and client demands.
To be successful in this role, we require a Systems Engineer that is capable of:
1. Conduct requirement analysis and development
2. Conduct design development and integration
3. Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V)
4. Creation of associated plans, procedures, processes and documentation
5. Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management
6. Assist with preparation and/or review of work instructions
7. Working within management standards and established industry practices
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key customer and supplier contacts
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Essential:
9. Degree qualified, Member (or Eligible for membership) of Engineers Australia in relevant electrical engineering discipline
10. Experienced in Systems Engineering practice using EIA-632/IEEE 15288 or equivalent
11. Hands-on experience in configuration management practice
12. Understanding of the ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line)
13. Experience in risk management
14. Hold an NV1 (or greater) Security Clearance
Desirable:
15. SATCOM engineering experience
16. Experience in requirements management and use of DOORs and V&V planning and test execution is highly desirable
