About the role As a Commissioning Manager, you will assist the Construction Manager in defining and populating completion deliverables, as well as providing CCMS resources to facilitate construction verification.The role will be Perth based for 6 months, then transition to site on a 2/1 roster Responsibilities Support the Construction Manager in defining and managing completion deliverablesProvide CCMS resources to support construction verificationOversee organizational structure management and resource forecastingManage commissioning recruitment and resource ramp-upEstablish commissioning service contracts for technical resourcing, tooling, and test equipmentDevelop Commissioning Management Plan, CCMS Management Plan, and Handover Management PlanPlan and schedule commissioning activities and systemisationCreate commissioning plans, procedures, and work packsDevelop commissioning ramp-up planning and feed request documentationManage Commissioning Performance Plan, tests, and reportsEstablish project-specific isolation and permitting procedures, including competency and appointmentEstablish project-specific High Voltage Isolation and Permitting procedures, including competency and appointmentCoordinate and manage vendor cost forecasts and funding provisionsMaintain and manage the project's systemisation registerEnsure integrity and proper utilization of the CCMS system, including change managementPresent and articulate commissioning deliverables effectively Experience/Requirements Extensive experience in commissioning managementElectrical or mechanical trade background, or a relevant tertiary qualificationSpecialized engineering or trade qualifications with substantial multi-discipline experience in completions and commissioningStrong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and codes for HS&E, construction, inspection, testing, and commissioningAdvanced expertise in quality management systemsHigh proficiency in office applications, planning, and scheduling toolsSkilled in configuring and managing completions databasesSolid understanding of completions and commissioning processes, procedures, and protocolsStrong communication skills for articulating commissioning results to project management, construction teams, project owners, and operations representativesAbility to work effectively across multiple contracting strategies to support coordinated project deliveryCompetent in assessing work conditions, maintaining confidentiality, and setting priorities in fast-paced environmentsExperience with iron ore material handling plantsProficiency with Hexagon Smart Completions software ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
