We're looking for a passionate and experienced Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:As a Bartender/Server at Gandhi Chow, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by offering exceptional customer service, expertly crafted beverages, and in-depth knowledge of our menu. You'll be part of a warm, professional, and fast-paced environment that values teamwork and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience
Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, and traditional Indian drinks
Take accurate orders, deliver food and beverages promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction
Offer recommendations and menu knowledge, including wine and cocktail pairings with Indian dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area
Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
Handle cash, card transactions, and point-of-sale operations efficiently
Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth service flow
Address guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
Previous experience as a bartender/server in a high-end restaurant or bar setting
Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and wines, with an ability to suggest pairings
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus, but not required (training provided)
Must be 18 years or older with a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
