General Manager - National Programs, SVVHSenior Clinical Leadership Permanent Full-Time OpportunityRole based from any of our St Vincent's Offices in Sydney, Melbourne or BrisbaneNot-For-Profit Salary Packaging - earn more for doing the job you love!About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to work in our St Vincent's at Home and St Vincents Virtual Division and report directly to the National Director of St Vincent's Virtual and Home. You will be responsible for leading the national privately funded at home and virtual services, including privately funded Rehabilitation, Palliative Care and Hospital in the Home programs. You will lead and participate in the design, delivery and operational management of the new at home services into the future. This position is responsible for ensuring professional and organisational standards of professional practice, patient care and patient experience are met across the program.This position is available on a Permanent Full-Time basis and can be located at any of our Head Office locations in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with some interstate travel as required.The Manager will:Proactively lead and oversee the St Vincent's at Home and St Vincent's Virtual private programs, including effectively managing all operational, financial and workforce activities for the program.Lead, co-ordinate and manage staff within the programs as well as front-end demand management, assist in the management of resources, labour budget, performance, work allocation, deliverables, KPIs and timeframes ensuring that talent identification, training, performance development and workforce planning activities are implemented.Engage and maintain relationships with key organisational and external stakeholders, building credibility, influencing decision making and delivering exceptional program management and leadership across the program as it develops.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure effective customer focus and strategic focus strategies are implemented to reduce risk, maintain compliance and explore continuous improvement opportunities in operational efficiency and quality of care to optimise patient outcomes, reduce hospital length of stay and/or avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.Your Contribution:Demonstrated success in a similar role within Australian health and community services, with the ability to comprehend the navigation of a patient's journey across hospital, community and primary care services.Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health, or qualified by experience in health administration and management.Proven experience in a relevant acute/community setting - minimum 5+ years.Advanced communication and relationship management skills and highly self-motivated, organized and able to plan, prioritise, and adapt workload to meet deadlines and multiple priorities.Understanding of health system funding landscape including the private health insurance system.Proven aptitude in complex problem solving, decision making, managing projects and strategic planning.Demonstrated people management skills and effective financial management and information technology skills.National Criminal History Check under 6 months (or willingness to obtain).What we offer:Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its service.Competitive salary packaging options.Discounted private health insurance.Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families.Access to the Fitness Passport (FP).St Vincent'sSt Vincent's Health Australia is the largest diversified health care organisation within Australia's not for profit Catholic health care sector.
