This role will report to Mark Quodling and work closely with the Operations Asset Planning & Delivery Portfolio. This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity. Salary Range: starting from $131,851 base super The Role: Lead and coordinate asset condition assessments, analyse findings and provide risk based recommendations (opex and capex interventions) Drive the development and coordination of strategic options development and analysis, which includes concept design, technical studies, safety in design assessments, cost estimates, life cycle cost assessments and benefits assessments Engage and manage engineering consultants for condition assessments, technical studies, and options development Ensure scope and specification documentation is clear and comprehensive to enable consultants and contractors to effectively respond to requests Manage day to day interface with Operations Asset Planning team, stakeholders, consultants to meet the program quality, schedule and cost requirements What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or higher form of tertiary institution or an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering and suitable relevant experience, with eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia Knowledge of electrical assets and associated controls systems relevant to WaterNSW core asset base such as industrial electrical systems, High Voltage systems and components, industrial process control and SCADA systems Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards including WHS as they relate to the design and delivery of engineering aspects of range of projects Extensive experience in design, construction or maintenance in heavy industrial engineering or utility environments, with practical experience Exposure to asset management of electrical and control equipment relevant to WNSW’s asset fleet Comfortable with occasional travel to sites across NSW as required Should you wish to express your interest, please complete the online questionnaire (scroll down to the bottom of the page), and attach a copy of your most recent resume and/or cover letter to your application.
