Location: Canberra Position Type: Ongoing | Full-time Salary: $90,199 – $101,745 About the role The Supervisor South Operations Support operates under the National Manager, Finance and Enterprise Support/Chief Financial Officer to ensure that all operations and business support functions within the South Operations model are effectively managed and are positioned to support and enable the overall mission of the ACIC. Key responsibilities: Leading the Canberra team of Business and Operations Support Officers to ensure that business and operational support functions and resources are effectively managed and delivered. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, alignment to the ACIC’s objectives, effective collaboration with key stakeholders and the appropriate allocation of resources. A varied range of responsibilities including business and facilities management, high level stakeholder management, operational checks and requests, including dealing with cash and exhibits. Our ideal candidate To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes: An ability to understand and apply legislation, policy and procedures to organisational processes, contribute to and oversee the preparation of policies, standard operating procedures and training materials Strong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, in addition to strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and effectively manage expectations Possesses strong team management, administration and leadership skills, including the ability to coordinate resources effectively, manage workloads, mentor and foster the positive team environment Delivers results in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism The ability to prioritise and re-prioritise as demands and circumstances change and respond positively Has skills in use a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems (including the Microsoft office suite) and have the ability to learn new ICT systems and processes as required Eligibility Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
