What’s the role? We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Insights and Planning Manager to join our team at NewsCorp Australia in Adelaide. Reporting to the General Manager of NCS, this senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping data-driven insights to optimize workforce management that deliver operational and financial efficiency in line with our customer management strategy. Collaborating across teams, you will lead with a focus on enhancing customer and agent experiences, driving innovation, and aligning resources with strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of advanced data models and Power BI reports for strategic decision-making. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge data analytics tools to enhance reporting capabilities. Partner with cross-functional teams to align objectives and facilitate data-driven decisions. Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Develop and execute workforce planning strategies, ensuring alignment with business forecasts and service demands. Oversee forecasting and scheduling models to optimize staffing and promote work-life balance. Innovate and improve customer management processes, driving enhanced customer outcomes. Ensure compliance with workforce management regulations and best practices. Collaborate with senior leadership to manage budgets and optimize financial performance. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. Who are you? A strategic thinker with 5 years of experience in building insight, workforce and customer management models, ideally in a complex environment. Skilled in developing and implementing customer management strategies and policies. Have a solid understanding of the BI tools, platforms, and methodologies that the team uses to deliver data-driven insights and expert level proficiency in operational tools and technologies, including Salesforce, Genesys, and Power BI. You should be familiar with data sources, data warehouses, data models, data quality, data visualization, and data security. A strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and detail-oriented, capable of identifying trends and driving data-informed decisions. A collaborative leader who can inspire and manage teams to achieve exceptional outcomes. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and operational efficiency. Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and cost optimization. Adept at contract negotiation and vendor management to support business objectives.
