We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Japanese Speaking Junior Accounting Administrator to join our client's finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position, and fluency in Japanese is required.
Position Overview:The Junior Accounting Administrator will assist in various basic accounting tasks and support the finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with other departments to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities:Assist with bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.Manage invoicing, process payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.Accurately input financial data into accounting software.Communicate with Japanese clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders as needed, translating documents or emails from English to Japanese and vice versa.Perform general administrative duties related to accounting functions as required.Handle AR/AP tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications:Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential for communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.Basic Accounting Knowledge: A foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.Previous Experience: Ideally, some experience in an accounting or administrative role, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply.Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all financial records.Proficient in Microsoft Office: Especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Word.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.Visa Status: This position is open to candidates who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold a valid Partner Visa.
