This position provides a unique chance to influence procurement strategies and monitor advancements in renewable technology.What you'll do:As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing project procurement activities, supporting the negotiation of major contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful project outcomes. You will have the opportunity to shape procurement strategies, monitor market trends, and drive innovation in renewable technology. Your role will involve maintaining robust, transparent, and efficient procurement practices while ensuring alignment with risk management objectives.Support the development and implementation of strategic alliances with turbine manufacturers and construction contractors.Maintain and implement procurement processes, templates, and systems.Manage procurement activities within assigned projects, coordinating with consultants and advisers.Provide commercial and procurement advice to business units as required.Lead negotiations on major procurement projects with external parties.Monitor and advise on new and changing market procurement strategies.Establish and manage all of business procurement processes, contractor pre-selection and procurement registers.Build and strengthen key external stakeholder relationships.What you bring:As a Senior Commercial Manager, your extensive experience in Procurement or Project/Commercial Management within the construction or energy/renewables sectors will be invaluable. Your strong understanding of the energy industry coupled with your experience negotiating complex infrastructure and finance agreements will enable you to excel in this role.
