Role Summary:
The Strategic Asset Planner will lead the development and implementation of an optimized asset performance management program. The role involves overseeing the lifecycle management of the University's built and natural environments, mitigating risks, and ensuring legislative compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the lifecycle management of the University's built and natural environments, optimizing performance and improving compliance.
* Mitigate asset management risks, including safety, financial, and operational risks, by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
* Drive the development of strategic asset management frameworks, maintenance, and replacement programs to achieve prioritization outcomes.
* Implement a whole-of-business approach to asset planning, transforming operations and enhancing reporting and compliance practices.
* Foster a culture of high-quality asset management by building strong stakeholder relationships and promoting effective engagement and education.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on teamwork, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in asset management or a related field.
* Extensive experience in strategic asset planning, preferably in a large and complex organizational setting.
* Advanced technical expertise in asset management, supported by a proven track record of delivering strategic asset planning services.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Leadership and management experience, including successfully working with diverse stakeholders.
Benefits:
* Full-time (36.25 hours) continuing position.
* $105,790.34 - $121,481.76 salary range.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions.
