An exciting opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Clinical Manager, (Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography) to be accountable for the delivery of specialist Nuclear Medicine and PET services, the management and professional competence of subordinate staff, whilst providing an advanced leadership role in the multidisciplinary team.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.
The position is both clinical and managerial and requires a specialised level of clinical knowledge, skills, problem solving abilities and expertise in the Nuclear Medicine and PET modality within the Health Service level.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Professionally manage the delivery of complex medical imaging services within Nuclear Medicine and PET.
2. Provide advanced level clinical advice to health practitioners in order to deliver effective speciality medical imaging services within the SCHHS.
3. Manage the quality of clinical practice within the specific Nuclear Medicine and PET medical imaging areas and play an active leadership role which contributes to the professional competence of the medical imaging team.
4. Apply expertise, knowledge and management skills to solve large scale and complex clinical service and work-flow problems.
Remuneration value up to $167,588 p.a., comprising salary between $140,767 - $146,883 p.a. (f/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed Term Temporary Full Time, 76 hrs p.f. from 15/08/2024 -14/08/2025).
