As a strong writer who has a creative flair for and interest in communications, you will apply your skills to enhance the Loreto Coorparoo brand and services.This is a Full-time position working thirty-eight (38) hours per week between the hours of 8.00am to 4.06pm, term time plus an additional eight weeks.This position is part of a diverse team of five (5) including the Manager Community & Partnerships, College Registrar, Event Co-Ordinator, and Community Administration Officer. As a member of the Community Engagement team, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our Business, Pastoral, Program and Curriculum Leaders, to contribute to activities that have a lasting, real impact on the education and support of our students, staff, and their families. Key responsibilities include:Communications – Develop a wide range of internal and external communication collateral (including media releases, presentations, newsletters, web content, brochures, awards, social media and creative copy) both independently and as part of a team.Social Media - Manage, monitor and update the College's social media accounts, which include: Loreto College Facebook, Loreto College Instagram, Loreto College LinkedIn, and Loreto College Parent Facebook groups.Marketing, Brand Management and Advertising – Administer the College Brand and provide support to all stakeholders on the use of the brand.Media & Design – Design and production of visual materials including event invitations, posters, booklets and certificatesPhotography & Videography - Coordinate the taking of College photographs and/or videos as required, at nominated events.Other Duties - Assistance at College events and nominated marketing campaigns including Open@Twilight, College Tours, and College Ceremony of Excellence. About YouThe Communications Officer will possess exceptional customer services skills in supporting and anticipating the needs of the College community. The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess strong writing and editing skills, with high attention to detail, along with a passion to work within a dynamic team. The Communications Officer will have demonstrated high-level computer competency, including advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and experience with software systems including Vision 6, Digistorm, Website management, and Canva.Previous experience in a school-based administration or school officer role will be advantageous.More detailed information about this position is available via the College's website under Employment.
