The Position
1. Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production across functions, boarding for 300+ students and retail catering
2. Producing a wide variety of menu offerings in line with current food trends and a focus on the implementation of food safety and allergy awareness controls
3. Create a positive work culture, mentoring the team to deliver to the highest standard
4. Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
5. Oversee inventory, procurement, cost control and minimize food wastage
The Person
6. Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery + Food Safety Supervisor
7. An accomplished leader with a stellar culinary track record
8. Experienced with high volume bulk cooking and functions & events catering
9. Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
10. Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
11. Available to work Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability for events during the year
