Retail Manager
Phillip Riley is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join the team in Brisbane. As the successful retail manager, key responsibilities include formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, setting prices, promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services, selling goods and services to customers, and advising them on product use. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions are also essential tasks.
Main Tasks:
* Manage daily operations: Oversee all aspects of the retail establishment's operations, including sales, staff, stock, and resources.
* Staff management: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
* Sales and marketing: Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
* Financial management: Manage budgets, financial reporting, and analyze sales and economic data.
* Stock control: Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards.
* Customer service: Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Policies and procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
* Supplier management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
