About the Company
Our client is a leading customer service chemical and nutrition company delivering a range of solutions specific to the Horticultural sector within Australia.
About the role
Grow and develop our business throughout Australia. Lead a driven and dynamic sales team, seek out new customers to grow our existing customer base, oversee the accounts of our current client portfolio, while working with head offices and key account stakeholders.
Responsibilities
7. Manage the sales team
8. Prepare and execute customer business plans to realise sales and gross margin targets whilst optimising expenditure and working capital
9. Develop strong customer relationships
10. Liaise and promote our clients’ products and service
11. Contribute to the development of the national sales strategy
12. Effectively act as the interface between customers and our client by ensuring prompt and efficient processing of correspondence, requests, and orders
13. Contribute to and support marketing and promotional activities
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
14. A tertiary qualification – ideally in Ag Science or Agribusiness
15. Demonstrated experience in Business/ Sales/ Account Management/ Staff Management
16. Recent experience within the Agricultural industry, preferably with a focus on horticulture, or high value cropping
17. Proven track record initiating, developing, and maintaining long term client relationships to meet sales targets
18. Ability to identify opportunities with existing and potential customers
