About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Safety & Wellbeing, the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Collins’ safety management system (SMS), online safety, wellbeing and injury management systems, safety and wellbeing data and reporting.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity of data collection systems and the reliability and validity of data and analysis to ensure critical risks are identified and inform the SMS and programs of work.
As the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Analyst, you will take ownership of the following key duties and responsibilities:
* Manage the Collins SMS by maintaining registers, ensuring regular review and update of all associated documents, policies, procedures, and tools.
* Coordinate and update the WHS Assurance and Audit Plan to ensure compliance and timely action, while managing the online storage, presentation, and access to safety and wellbeing information for usability, currency, and relevance.
* Review and validate safety and wellbeing data from various sources to identify discrepancies or errors, while conducting statistical and trend analysis to generate reports and dashboards that enhance data usability for stakeholders to identify critical risks and appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Collate and analyze data to provide technical advice on performance measures for periodic and quarterly reporting, manage data development for safety and wellbeing ESG reporting, and ensure alignment with Global Reporting Initiative standards to effectively manage safety and wellbeing risks.
* Provide data and analysis to inform the development of safety and wellbeing strategies, action plans, and programs of work, while also offering training and support to stakeholders on online safety systems, data collection, reporting, and interpretation.
* Act as the Subject Matter Expert and Administrator for online safety systems (DoneSafe, SharePoint and Solv), including backend functionality, dashboard creation, and issue troubleshooting, while also providing administrative support to the Safety and Wellbeing Team by drafting agendas, minutes, and action registers for WHS meetings, as well as developing signage, posters, safety alerts, and other media.
About You
As the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Analyst you will bring to the role the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data management tools such as Excel and Power BI (essential).
* Experience in online safety systems DoneSafe and Solv (desirable).
* Experience in SharePoint.
* Experience in implementing and maintaining an ISO45001 system.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Strong IT skills to administer the safety and wellbeing systems as an Admin User
* Tertiary qualifications, or working toward, in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Data Analytics or information Management.
