Clinical/Medical Research (Healthcare & Medical) Full time Autonomous, Australian representative roleInfluence, Direct and Implement Clinical StrategyInternational, clinical stage Oncology therapeuticAbout us: We are a clinical stage Immuno-Oncology company, developing a portfolio of innovative anti-cancer assets licensed from the world's foremost Research Institutions.Founded by an Australian, our board and Executive team is based in the USA and Europe, however Australia remains a significant focus for clinical development.We have an enviable equity and research partnership with a global industry leader, and recently secured significant funding from international Healthcare Institutional investors.We are well positioned to execute on an ambitious clinical program across our entire portfolio.The Opportunity: We have recently commenced a first-in-human study targeting PDL-1 in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and are preparing a further study of our HER-2 target in breast and gastric cancers.We are now seeking to engage a Director-level Clinical Operations professional to assume a broad-ranging clinical leadership role that ensures the successful execution of the Australian clinical program.The Head of Clinical Operations will direct current and future clinical programs in Australia, overseeing clinical service providers to ensure trials meet contractual obligations.The role will effectively represent our company in the Australian oncology community, and will engage widely with Principal investigators, Key Opinion Leaders, specialist clinicians and research scientists.Experience Profile sought: Ideally, you will bring exceptional clinical project leadership experience, a deep skillset across all constituent trial activities and domain expertise in oncology.Extensive networks across the cancer research community and sound relationships with leading PI's, Oncologists, hospitals and Research Institutions will be a distinct advantage.Strategic agility is a core requirement, as the role will see you concurrently manage competing priorities; from strategic planning and industry engagement to operational oversight of early-stage clinical trials and management reporting.Excellent knowledge of governance structures that regulate clinical studies and the registration of therapeutic products are expected, as is the ability to forge relationships and influence at the most senior levels of cancer care.This is a highly autonomous, trusted advisor position, with significant scope to drive clinical strategy.Fully remote and preferentially permanent full-time, this opportunity will appeal to those seeking career advancement, diversity or a long-term Consulting engagement with end-to-end project control.We will offer an excellent compensation package and performance incentives to our referred applicant.Ready to go?
