About us:
The Rockhampton Hospital Renal Services are a district wide service and are part of the Division of Medicine. The Renal Service program encompasses those patients referred into the Renal Service from across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). These patients are under the medical / multidisciplinary management of the Renal Service from initial diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), implementing strategies for delaying progressing, planning for End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) treatment choices of renal replacement therapy (Dialysis or Transplantation) and conservative care. Those patients who have received a renal transplant within CQHHS are managed on a similar outpatient basis by the Renal Service.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse (CN) works collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in the delivery, management and development of the clinical services in the Rockhampton Renal Service and provides clinical expertise within the renal setting to ensure the provision of best practice, and quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing teaching and support to nursing staff and patients to enhance skill acquisition and competence.
About you:
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current practising certificate is mandatory for this position.
* Relevant postgraduate certificate in Renal Nursing is highly desirable.

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
