The Role We have an opportunity for an astute and capable ICT Operations and Service Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our internal IT Team, managing IT services to be delivered to internal customers across a national footprint and ensuring the successful completion of IT projects within established timelines and budgets. Serving as the main point of contact for maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure, the role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the provision of secure and efficient IT infrastructure and services to the national business, including operational and strategic planning.Continuously review and improve the cyber security framework of the company to prevent and respond to threats and safeguard its information, assets, and services.Ensure compliance with relevant industry security standards and other legislation identified within the IT risk and compliance framework.Manage IT assets, security policies, audits, and assessments.Manage internal help desk function, and customer service ticketing system.Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and support of the internal ICT team, including recruitment, monitoring delivery against objectives, quality standards, personal development, coaching and appraisal.Manage technology licenses and subscriptions, including periodic renewals.Collaborating with our internal staff to analyse business requirements, provide functional and business analysis including process mapping, requirements gathering, scoping and estimation.Schedule, control and managing ICT systems performance, maintenance, cyber security, and risk mitigation, in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner.Develop, forecast, and manage ICT budget for assets and costs, monitor costs to ensure proper budgetary controls are exercised with continuous identification of potential cost efficiencies.Provide timely reports to senior management and/or board of directors. About You Relevant tertiary degree and/or recognised qualifications within Information Technology.Demonstrable experience as a team leader amongst ICT staff in mid-sized to large businesses. At least 3-5 years’ experience as a team leader or similar in building and leading teams in a supportive culture which inspires people to achieve higher levels of performance. Minimum 3’ years’ experience in using a ticketing system to resolve issues.Relationship management - develop and maintain effective working relationships with the ability to influence, advise and support key decision-makers.Proven experience in ICT and business operations management roles.Existing rights to work in Australia.
