Your impact The purpose of this role is to undertake dam safety projects and to collaboratively work with other disciplines. JacobsWaterANZ You will be required to write proposals for, win and manage both complex and smaller dam safety projects. You will have experience in undertaking the analysis, design and reporting for various geotechnical projects in accordance with relevant Authority Standards/Australian Standards related to: Dam and embankment inspections and reporting, compliant with ANCOLD guidelines Analysis of instrumentation related to dams and interpretation of the results in relation to dam safety Dam and embankment stability analyses Seismic and static liquefaction analyses Foundation analyses and design Geotechnical test data interpretation Technical report writing You will be responsible for: Undertaking a range of dam safety projects, including the supervision of small teams to deliver projects. Completing office-based geotechnical assessments using modelling software packages where appropriate. Preparation of proposals and bid documents. Data collection and analysis Presenting information to clients, stakeholders and internal management in a concise and effective manner Authoring complex assessments / reports. Report checking and review. Here's what you'll need Degree in Engineering Author technical reports that detail the type, methodologies, results of field activities, interpretation of results and impact assessment Coaching and mentoring Able to directly liaise with clients in a confident manner and lead meetings with clients. Build relationships with clients, contribute to business development and support the pursuit of new opportunities with existing and new clients Effectively collaborate with the wider water resource practice to share technical skills, resources or work packages Attain/maintain proficiency in the use of standard tools, techniques and equipment that are required for the undertaking, completion and delivery of your work Ensure sufficient knowledge of the legislation and policies that are relevant to our work Be able to communicate results and analysis with internal and external clients.
