Ongoing Full Time Contract Make a lasting impact in a role that leads the future of Community Health services!We are seeking an innovative and strategic Executive Director for Community and Allied Health to join Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN).
This executive role offers the opportunity to drive transformation across sub-acute, community aged care, disability, Telerehab, and Allied Health services, shaping the future of healthcare delivery in a vibrant, diverse, and growing region.About the RoleAs the Executive Director Community and Allied Health (EDCAH), you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary workforce while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across RMCLHN.
You will play a key role in clinical governance, strategic policy development, and the operational management of significant budgets.
Collaborating closely with clinical leaders, the CEO, and government stakeholders, you will advocate for the pivotal role of Community and Allied Health in patient care and contribute to the development of statewide and national health policies.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and implementation of Community and Allied Health strategies aligned with the SA Health Care Plan and RMCLHN's strategic objectives.Managing a substantial budget to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.Directing a large team across multiple disciplines to promote integration, professional development, and excellence in care.Influencing policy and practice reform at local, state, and national levels, including through representation on key committees.
Essential Criteria Qualifications: Higher qualifications in health care relevant to the role (RN/M6.5 must hold or be eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in leading and managing allied health staff within complex, multi-disciplinary settings.Strategic Management: Proven ability to manage human, financial, and material resources effectively within a health service context.Policy and Innovation: Expertise in health policy, strategic planning, and program development at a senior level.Change Management: Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale change initiatives and achieving successful outcomes.
