This role will take the lead in negotiating technical requirements and driving critical pre-sales activities for wind energy projects for a global renewable company. Excellent opportunity for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the negotiation of technical requirements for wind energy projects, ensuring the company’s technology and products are accurately represented, compliant with regulations, and meet customer needs.
* Manage pre-sales activities, including wind resource assessment (WRA), layout optimization, load assessments, product certifications, and ensuring product compliance.
* Interface directly with customers to provide tailored solutions, ensuring that the company's offerings meet emerging international market demands.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, independent engineers (IEs), third-party experts, lenders, and insurance companies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support commercial efforts, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.
Requirements:
* Minimum 13 years of experience in the wind energy industry, with a strong background with OEMs, wind IPPs, or Developers in Europe or LATAM.
* In-depth technical expertise in wind turbines, interfaces, wind resource assessment, grid compliance, and related technologies.
* Strong understanding of the Sales process, proposal management, and pre-sales support.
* Proven ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively, managing diverse stakeholders across various organizational levels.
* Fluent in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate clearly at all levels of the customer's organization.
