For the sites located around the Brisbane area, we are looking for a HSE Manager. Job Description The HSE Manager will have the following responsibilities: Develop and implement HSE policies and practices in line with Australian regulations and company standards. Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Deliver HSE training programs to ensure all employees are well-versed in safety procedures. Manage incident investigations and provide comprehensive reports. Promote a safety-first culture within the organisation. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all compliance standards are met. Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in relation to HSE. The Successful Applicant A successful HSE Manager should have: Relevant qualification in the HSE field 7 years of experience in the role within the Manufacturing Industry Strong knowledge of AU standards and regulations Natural '80/20' Leader: Ability to simplify complex issues and deliver focus area's Ability to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement safety programs to mitigate them. Strong communication skills to effectively present safety information, conduct training, and liaise with both staff and management. Availability to travel on site on a daily basis.
