About the team
The current global situation presents many challenges for companies - that’s where we come in. Deloitte GES helps multinational corporations navigate multifaceted tax laws and labour regulations. Combining tax research and data analytics, we give advice on global compensation, visa and work permits, international assignees, personal tax compliance and policy design for many of the world’s largest companies and their employees.
What will your typical day look like?
You will work as part of the Deloitte Global Employer Services (GES) team to support and advise some of Australia’s and the world’s largest and most innovative companies. In this role, you will provide advice and services to;
4. International assignees about the Australian tax implications of their assignments, as well as helping them meet their Australian tax compliance obligations.
5. Employers with; tax and policy issues arising from their global mobility programs employment taxes issues, obligations and opportunities on matters such as fringe benefits tax, payroll tax, superannuation contributions and PAYG equity and reward scheme obligations and planning opportunites.
Deloitte GES will provide continual on-the-job and formal technical training as well as a mixture of clients to work with, giving you exposure to a broad range of issues and opportunities to build client relationships. You will be part of a wider client service team, working together with our global network of GES tax specialists to provide holistic solutions to your clients.

You are someone with:
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be working directly with assignees as well as liaising with corporate clients
7. Ability to manage and prioritise tasks, working across numerous multinational clients in various industries
8. Solid Australian tax knowledge in most areas impacting GES such as personal tax, residency, double tax agreements, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax, payroll tax, superannuation contributions, PAYG and employee share schemes.
9. An eagerness and commitment to expand your focus and skillset to become a broader advisory professional across all areas of GES to better support your clients.
