Senior Financial Accountant – Fixed Term Job responsibilities Our Story:Christian Dior Couture, the House of Dreams, is recognised for its French heritage and vibrant culture sublimating its unique Savoir-faire and Creativity through empowering metiers d'art.Our Maison is a destination for sustainable growth and success where we shape the future of our Talents in a positive, authentic & generous environment.We bloom and deliver excellence with passion, determination, courage, and optimism to offer meaningful and daring codes.Profile Your Role:As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, contributing to DIOR's ongoing growth and success.This is a temporary position covering a 6-month maternity leave.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will: Oversee month-end accounts closing and reporting, including managing fixed assets and stock inventory.Perform detailed accounting calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.Execute manual adjustments in SyRus and generate comprehensive Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and additional schedule reports.Prepare and review analytical statements for P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow, ensuring precise classification and timely completion.Maintain fixed assets registers and monitor WIP accounts, providing monthly updates on ongoing projects.Assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports, support external audits, and compile business statistics.Prepare income tax schedules, calculate tax provisions, and lead FBT preparation and submission in collaboration with Tax consultants.Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, conduct quarterly boutique audits, and participate in stocktakes as required.Provide training and mentorship to internal staff and interns, supporting Accounts Payable & Assistant Accountant.To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in a similar industry, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.You will possess an excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and be proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills.You must be deadline-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
