This role will contribute to the development and delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). The CQ Region covers an area of about 604,824km2, approximately 34.9% of Queensland. Some of your responsibilities will include: Collecting, analysing and presenting various program and project reports and monitoring financial performance against delivery targets. Providing effective project management assistance including procurement, scheduling, project control and finance to project staff to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines and to agreed standards. Identifying and engaging with key customers to ensure their needs are understood and communicated to the Finance and Project Controls team. Leading the District project scheduling function, including regular updates of Primavera, coordinating internal and external scheduling resources (where applicable), as well as providing advice on schedule management procedures, processes, guidelines, and business rules. Promoting and reinforcing improvements to internal control processes that support effective financial control functions and associated reporting. Providing functional leadership and support to team members as functional leader, incorporating on-the-job training and mentoring to ensure appropriate skill sets and knowledge bases are identified and developed. Providing high level administrative support to team members, including coordination of team meetings, documents and reports and actively participating in the Community of Practice for various functions. Utilising a variety of software packages to support the financial management function within the Region (SAP, 3PCM, Microsoft Office Suite).
