Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology, and disability services to more than 5,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people, and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the role
The Human Resources Manager reports to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Payroll teams. In addition to providing operational leadership, this role also serves as a HR Advisor to Novita's Senior Managers, supporting their strategic objectives. The HR Manager oversees the planning, organisation, execution, and monitoring of contemporary HR practices, ensuring effective team outcomes and alignment with organisational goals.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will work across a broad range of HR activities. Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Contributing to the identification and development of organisational changes, policies, and programs, emerging from changes in the Disability Services Sector that affect Novita’s workforce requirements.
2. Developing and maintaining a service culture that adds value to employees’ and managers’ experiences.
3. Contributing to the development of contemporary workforce initiatives throughout the employee life cycle and support the development of HR capability throughout Novita.
4. Creating a positive and collaborative team environment with clear shared goals.
5. Contributing to the organisation by role modelling Novita’s ICARE workplace culture and best practice.
6. Ensuring the effective implementation of procedures, work instructions and continuous improvement.

You’ll receive a competitive salary package and employee benefits aligned with your experience.
