Robert Half is exclusively recruiting for a qualified Finance Analyst offering a unique opportunity to join a large and quickly growing company based in Melbourne and operating internationally.
This role involves taking charge of financial reporting and analysis for one of their main business units, providing an attractive prospect for skilled Finance Analysts or Management Accountant to make a meaningful impact.
The Role
Working from the office based in the Western Suburbs, you will play an integral part in the delivery off this organisation's financial reports.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the duties and responsibilities include:
1. Preparation P&L and Balance Sheet reports
2. Budgeting, forecasting
3. Completion of complex general ledger reconciliations
4. Ensure integrity and accuracy of balance sheet accounts
5. Detailed month-end analysis and reporting
6. Ensuring all relevant accounting standards are adhered to
7. Working closely with all Stakeholders, both finance & non-finance
8. Detailed variance analysis
9. Inventory & stock accounting / reporting
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will be fully qualified (CA/CPA) and have a proven technical accounting knowledge and experience within large business.
An ability to take ownership of the role while supporting those around you is also a pre-requisite for this position.
You will have strong system skills with a proven background with PowerBi coupled with an advanced ability on Excel.
